Veenfabriek Pop Up: Monster

Inspired by Mary Shelley's legendary novel Frankenstein, Veenfabriek is working on the music theatre production Frankenstein (2027): a musical steampunk horror trip about the monsters we bring to life ourselves. Leading up to this, the creators present Monster: a pop-up performance about makers and their creatures.

Monster is a short, musical performance about the dark side of our creative drive. What if we create something that we no longer understand or control? Are you born a monster, or made into a monster?

Monster is a performance in which music, technology, and imagination merge into an encounter with the monsters of our time.
